Communications Committee
The Communications Committee creates and executes a communications plan for HPAS.
As of March 2016 - the School has created it's own official website: highparkalternative.com and is using Twitter to communicate to families for all matters - from emergencies (such as school closings) to important news and events and sharing photos/video's of school life.
In conjunction with the co-chairs all Council relate news and announcements can be found on hpalt.org.
There is a weekly eNewsletter put out by Council (Admin/Teachers will add to it if needed).
This Newsletter goes out each Monday at around noon and is an update from ALL Committee leads in addition to happenings at the school and initiatives/updates from Parent Council.
The committee can also supports the various other Committee (i.e. creates marketing material, etc.). Committee members include any interested parents. The Communications Committee Chair, or designate, is a member of the Parent Executive Committee.
