DeClutter and Raise Money for HPAS!
Bag 2 School Fundraiser
Our Bag 2 School Fundraiser is back! Together with Annette we are raising funds for the 'Orange Door' in our shared playground!
Don't know what the Orange Door is? Ask your kid! We will try to snap a photo for you--but for those who have never seen it...behind this door lies a treasure trove of playground essentials, from balls to jump ropes, for all kids to enjoy during recess/outdoor play. We'd like to buy more equipment with funds raised--and we need your help!
From today (March 25th) to April 4th, we will be collecting your bags (unlike in the past, they aren't supplying blue bags for us) of any of the following: clean clothing in reasonable condition, soft toys, shoes (tied together, please), belts, purses, drapes, and linen. For more information, see http://www.bag2school.ca/faq.html. Drop off is in the main entry beneath the stairs.
So...while getting ready for the in-laws, cleaning up that spare room, or de-cluttering as part of a New Year's resolution) -- HANG ON TO THOSE goods for us and start bagging them up!
- Jess Rutherford, parent ([email protected])
What can be included in the collection?
Any clean clothing in reasonable condition, soft toys, shoes (tied together, please), belts, purses drapes and linen
Need more bags?
You can use your own if you fill the one's sent home in your child's backpack
